Work from home naps: Your new productivity weapon…

Yes, you heard it right! Napping has so many added benefits that you wouldn’t even imagine. Keep reading for more…

Napping has clear benefits such as increased alertness and decreased risk of cardiovascular issues and stroke! We would never have guessed this!

  • Companies are now starting to embrace work from home napping as well as gyms with sleep pods!

  • Always ensure that you separate your workspace from your nap space at home, this is a really important point!

For years we have been seeing different bit of research that shows naps to be incredibly useful in the workplace.

Now that most of us are working from home, the temptation for a mid-day time out makes even more sense and we can absolutely get carried away. In general, the more sleep (within reason) the better for our health, so it can’t all be that bad!

Studies suggest that those getting less than 6 hours of sleep per day are much more likely to experience cardiovascular and mental issues as well as accidents.

So, yes! the temptation to nap is stronger than ever when your comfy bed is so close to your working desk, but you really should consider scheduling in nap time every day if you can manage it. The science is there to support it if you need to explain yourself! But just know that more and more employees are being trusted to manage their own time and are working flex hours. So you may not even need to tell your supervisor that you are taking a break for a nap!

Enjoy Napping!
